I really debated this time around if I should strap one on my pricey DSLRs on my back while I went rock climbing again. The first climbing trip I went on we didn’t need to carry as much stuff and I used a backpack, but this time around as soon and I tied in and stepped up I immediately felt the downward pull of of the 2 liters of water, my approach shoes, the beefy camera, my food, and of course the protective gear I was pulling out as I followed my partner.
It was a long day but in the end the photos were worth it. But maybe it’s time to invest in a nice tiny point and shoot.
